Ensemble Eins is a professional contemporary music ensemble comprising a Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Piano, Violin, Viola, and Violoncello, led by Composer/Artistic Director Myunghoon Park. Each member has a deep attachment to contemporary music, having studied in Europe and possessing rich backgrounds in various genres of contemporary music. Ensemble Eins ponders, enjoys, and introduces contemporary music. For us, contemporary music represents creations that reflect contemporary times with freshness and empathy, regardless of their historical era. We aim to introduce new artistic creations to Korea's contemporary music scene to meet its evolving needs. Additionally, we strive to discover and support the innovative works of Korean composers, contributing to the development of creative music in Korea.

I. Eins New Music Concert
The New Music Concert is our group's major performance. We aim to introduce to Korea the latest creations from Europe, showcasing new trends, techniques, and musical aesthetics in contemporary European music. We have regularly held concerts featuring works by renowned composers such as Salvatore Sciarrino, Georges Aperghis, and Kaija Saariaho. Additionally, we have presented innovative pieces by currently active composers like Gordon Kampe, Hector Parra, Jose Maria Sanchez-Verdu, Mark Andre, Franck Bedrossian, and Rebecca Saunders.
II. segment / element
This program introduces contemporary music composers who have been influential in the history of music. It includes essential works of composers who have significantly impacted the transition and development of contemporary music. The small-scale concert held in 2014 featured solo pieces by Luciano Berio and duet pieces by Brian Ferneyhough, Iannis Xenakis, and Salvatore Sciarrino. Recently, this program has shifted to embrace diversity by adopting a special thematic approach. It has collaborated with a contemporary Japanese dance troupe to stage a performance.
Ensemble Eins는 작곡가 박명훈 예술감독을 중심으로 Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Piano, Violin, Viola, Violoncello로 구성된 현대음악 전문 앙상블로서 각각의 단원들은 현대음악에 남다른 애착을 갖고 있으며 다양한 형태의 현대음악 연주 경험을 통해 현대음악에 능숙한 전문연주자로 구성되었다. Eins가 생각하고 즐기며 소개할 음악은 현대음악이다. 우리에게 현대음악이란, 작품의 생성시기에 상관없이 시대정신을 가지고 있으며 새로움이 있는 창작물이고 서로 공감할 수 있는 음악 예술작품이라 할 수 있겠다. 한국 현대음악계에 신선한 예술작품들의 소개 및 한국작곡가들의 참신한 곡을 발굴하고 지원하며 다양한 콘텐츠를 선보이고 있다.
I. Eins New Music Concert
New Music Concert는 본 단체의 주 공연이다. 유럽의 최근작품들을 위주로 한국에 소개하는것을 목적으로 유럽 현대음악의 동향과 새로운 기법 및 음악미학적 방향을 엿볼수 있도록 한다. 이 정기연주회를 통하여 Salvatore Sciarrino, Georges Aperghis, Kaija Saariaho, Gordon Kampe, Hector Parra, Jose Maria Sanchez-Verdu, Mark Andre, Franck Bedrossian, Rebecca Saunders 등 20/21세기 중요한 현대음악 작곡가들의 작품을 소개한다.

음악사적으로 중요한 인물로 거론되는 현대음악 작곡가들의 작품 소개 및 타 장르와의 콜라보레이션, 한국작곡가 프로그램 등 다양한 주제로 방향을 확장하여 구성하고 있다. Luciano Berio, Brian Ferneyhough, Iannis Xenakis, Helmut Lachenmann, Hans Zender 등 현대음악의 고전 작품을 연주한다. 2019년에는 일본 무용단 및 작곡가와 협업으로 한일 음악/무용 교류 연주회를 개최했다.
